I remember a day back in 2013 shortly after moving into our newly constructed home in Samar, which still wasn't completely finished. One fine morning when Teri seemed to be in a good mood, she promised to let me drink one uninterrupted cup of coffee. Then she gave me a choice - I could begin painting the cabinets or start working on the patio. She had never given me choices before. Things were really looking up that day! She even let me choose my own coffee cup! 😃
