Married to a Filipina

My wife and I were discussing some of the key elements to our long-lasting marriage, and the topic of having arguments came up. After over 40 years together, my wife and I rarely get into major brawls about anything. Whenever we do have a disagreement, it doesn't seem to last very long, and Teri usually just turns away and disappears out of sight. We may not speak to each other for hours. We both cool off and things return to normal. Sometimes it's just better that way.

During our conversation I asked her "By the way, where do you always disappear to when you walk away from an argument?" She replied "Sometimes I go clean the toilet."

Curiously, I asked "And that helps?" To which she responded, "It does when I use your toothbrush!"
