For all the newcomers to this site, know that you can also find us on Facebook @Tropic Shade, which is simply our social media portal to all things Made in the Shade! From there, we are able to disseminate information more easily. Facebook acts as sort of a traffic roundabout, directing info seekers to all of our other informational sites like YouTube, this website "Living in the Pacific," Twitter, Instagram and our "Patreon " page.

People Come and People Go...

... but thankfully over the years, we continue to gain more followers. Why do people stick with us? They trust us! They enjoy the tropical updates and the inspiration. Some are looking for insight into a better way of life abroad with less stress. Maybe they are just looking for change... a new adventure.
What causes people to leave? Well, best I can figure is that they have moved on with their dream, dropped anchor, and no longer need the motivation. Or, maybe they've decided that moving to the tropics or SE Asia is not everything they imagined and it's not for them. They could be just "over-subscribed" and it has become overwhelming to manage all the subscriptions. Then again, maybe the prefer to get their information elsewhere. Whatever the reason they leave, we send our gratitude for visiting.
