Taal Volcanoe – Not Going Back to Sleep!

It’s been over two months since the Taal Volcano in the Philippines was awakened and she continues her unrest, emitting moderate amounts of steam severall hundred meters in to the sky this past week (26-27 Feb), according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.

The plume was observed to drift to the southwest of the crater, and was not reported to affect air travel into or out of Manila.
